...is a DELUXE LTOOL which creates a list of dated _Events/Facts_ for tagged individuals in your Legacy database.
To create a list of dated _Events/Facts_ for tagged individuals in your Legacy database:
uri/../images/bluepin.gif Individual Tag
Select the tag you used in Legacy to mark the individuals whose _Events/Facts_ you wish to list.
uri/../images/bluepin.gif Events to List
Select the types of dated _Events/Facts_ you wish to list.
uri/../images/bluepin.gif EventSDate From
Enter a date in yyyymmdd format. List Events will only select _Events/Facts_ whose EventSDate is between this date and EventSDate To. Defaults to 00000000.
uri/../images/bluepin.gif EventSDate To
Enter a date in yyyymmdd format. List Events will only select _Events/Facts_ whose EventSDate is between EventSDate From and this date. Defaults to 99999999.
Click to send the list of dated _Events/Facts_ to your printer.
uri/../images/bluepin.gif Generate CSV...
Click to create a text file in CSV (comma separated value) format, including a header record, from the result set. You can save this file with a .csv extension and open it in any spreadsheet program to see and manipulate the results.
uri/../images/bluepin.gif Generate Timeline...
Click to create a text file from the listed _Events/Facts_ in a format that can be used as a timeline for Legacy's Chronology tab. You should save the resulting file as a .txt file into your Legacy Timeline folder after making any desired changes. Only _Events/Facts_ with a date in "MMM DD, YYYY", "MMM YYYY", or "YYYY" format will be included in the timeline. _Events/Facts_ with dates that contain a prefix (such as "abt") will be ignored.
This is where _LTools_ will display the list of _Events/Facts_. Note that you can click on the column headings to sort the results by the particular column. Clicking once will sort in ascending order. Clicking again will sort in descending order. In addition, you can right-click on the top left corner (Select All button) to bring up a context menu which will allow you to show/hide columns. This will affect the display and print, but not the CSV.
